SWAPAN KUMAR GORAI is a Chartered Accountant, India and holder of Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management (Finance & Strategy) from Management Development Institute, Gurgaon.
He has superannuated in January 2023 after serving more than Thirty Six years of professional experience including Six years in Director Finance, KIOCL Limited, Govt of India Enterprise under Ministry of Steel, a leading Pellet maker EOU in India. Shares of KIOCL is listed in BSE and NSE in India.
Swapan has nearly four decads of diversified, multi-cultural, multi-country, multi-industry, professional work in a number of entities in CPSE/MNC/Corporate sectors in areas of General Management, Finance & Accounts, Corporate affairs, Information Technology and Human Resource. The Companies, he has served include MECON, Indian Oil, IRCON, TCIL in public sector, Foster Wheeler, Petron KSS in MNC and NICCO, Punj Lloyd in Corporate sectors.
He is a dynamic business leader, passionate in Strategy Formulation and Implementation, Technology Adoption, Leadership and Talent development.
During his tenure in KIOCL, the Company has made a complete turnaround, achieving highest turnover and profits. He was also entrusted with the Chairman and Managing Director (Additional Charge) for a brief period in 2021.
